Speak music. A letter is a chord in a chord section and a note inside a lick.
· "section chorus · E flat minor · percent · percent · D flat stop"
· "lick · E F E F · A flat hold · bar · D E D" — durations: sixteenth, eighth, quarter, triplet, rest, hold
· "chord G minor" inside a lick writes the harmony · "passing G over B" · "circle it"
· "voicing A flat B flat C E flat" names the chord and offers every other reading
· sargam is more accurate than letters: "sa ga ma pa · komal ni" (relative to the key)
· "key D minor" · "tempo one twenty" · "new song …" · "go to pre" · "times two" · "cue wait four bars" · "scratch that"
Safety. Dictation only ever writes into blocks it created itself, so nothing you typed, drew or read from a photo can be overwritten. The target above is clickable, every utterance is one undo, and Undo dictation removes the whole spoken session and nothing else.
Write chords or a lick — pause and it digitises. Finger scrolls, Pencil writes.
Every chord and note plays on real Salamander grand samples, offline. Edits are kept on this Mac and logged as training data — open Review to see everything the reader is unsure of, confirm or fix it, and export the corrections.
